DUBAI INTERNATIONAL RALLY

History

The Dubai International Rally has being held since the mid-1980s, but the ATCUAE took over the task of organizing the rally in 1997.The Dubai International Rally is the final round of the FIA Middle East Rally Championship, a round that decides the champion for the year.

The stature and popularity of the rally has grown over the years, attracting scores of competitors from the region in their quest for ultimate glory. The rally is traditionally held over a three-day period – from Thursday to Saturday – towards the end of the year.

Over the years, Dubai Police, the Dubai Naturalization & Residency Department, the Dubai Directorate General of Civil Defense, the Roads & Transport Authority, Dubai Customs, Unified Ambulance, DP World, Emarat and Explorer Publishing have continued to partner and support this prestigious event.
